Install

Pick what you want, where you want it. Everything below is the same agent runtime, packaged for the surface you live in.

1. Choose the surface

Both ship from the same codebase and share licenses. Most operators install both.

PeriCode Inside — Obsidian plugin. Lives in the right sidebar of any vault. Vault tools, MCP integrations, persistent memory, DB Sync. PeriCode CLI — Terminal Ink TUI. The same agent + tool surface, run from PowerShell. PeriCode Sidecar — External UIA driver. Coming soon.

2. Choose the delivery

Bootstrapper (recommended) — ~250 KB. Downloads the latest installer at run time, then runs it. Best for normal installs. Full installer — ~5 MB. Single offline-capable .exe. Pick this for restricted networks or air-gapped machines.

What happens after install

Inside: the installer creates a new vault under %USERPROFILE%\Documents\PeriCode, registers it with Obsidian, and opens it. The setup wizard runs on first load.
CLI: pericode becomes available in PowerShell after the installer finishes. Run pericode in any folder to start.

To activate a license later: paste the key in Settings → PeriCode → Subscription (Inside) or run pericode license activate <key> (CLI).
