Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-09. By installing or using PeriCode, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or continue using the software.

License

The free tier is licensed to you for personal and commercial use at no charge, subject to these terms. Paid tiers (Pro, Team, Business, Premium) are licensed under the same terms with the additional benefits described on the pricing page. License keys are non-transferable and bind to a hardware fingerprint up to the seat limit of your plan.

Acceptable use

• Do not use PeriCode to violate any law, infringe rights, or harm others.
• Do not bypass the license-validation checks. We reserve the right to revoke licenses obtained through tampering or fraud, with refund where applicable.
• You are responsible for the AI provider terms attached to whichever model you configure (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). PeriCode is a runtime, not the provider.
• You are responsible for the data you sync, the queries you run, and the actions the agent performs on your machine. PeriCode provides governance gates and audit trails; the operator decides what to allow.

No warranty

PeriCode is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the software is error-free, that the agent will produce correct outputs, or that automation will succeed in every case. You are responsible for reviewing agent actions before allowing destructive operations. Default policy gates require operator confirmation for destructive commands; do not override them on systems you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of PeriCode is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, where the agent acted within an operator-approved permission gate.

Termination

You may stop using PeriCode at any time and uninstall the software. We may terminate paid licenses for material breach of these terms with 30 days written notice; on termination, the free tier remains available subject to the same terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on file with your license, at least 30 days before the change takes effect for you.
